La Leonessa Tells the Story

Showcasing the collections of the Museo del Risorgimento Leonessa d'Italia through an immersive experience able to make the episodes and protagonists of the Italian Risorgimento more accessible, moving and understandable.

Create four VR experiences that can be enjoyed at the museum, integrated into the cultural and educational offerings of the Museo del Risorgimento.

The experiences allow visitors to explore the historical context of the Risorgimento and relive stories linked to figures and events that contributed to the birth of modern Italy.

The project is guided by Leonessa Lea, a character created specially by Elisabetta Dami, the creator of Geronimo Stilton, as a tribute to Brescia, "the Lioness of Italy".

Showcasing heritage: the VR experiences enrich the visit, revealing archival materials and previously unseen artefacts within a complete narrative.

Engaging young people: The project brings history to life and makes it emotionally compelling for new generations, thanks in part to the narrative guidance of Leonessa Lea.

Accessibility: thanks to content in Italian Sign Language (LIS) and dedicated software, the experience is fully accessible to deaf users too.

Educational offering: for schools (lower and upper secondary), the package combines the VR experience with a guided tour of the Museo del Risorgimento Leonessa d'Italia.
