How can the Risorgimento be brought to life for new generations, without limiting it to a story observed from a distance? With "La Leonessa Tells the Story", Fondazione Brescia Musei, WAY Experience and Beside have created four virtual reality experiences for the Museo del Risorgimento Leonessa d'Italia. A cultural project that combines museum collections, immersive storytelling, accessibility and a guide character designed to engage young audiences in particular.
Showcasing the collections of the Museo del Risorgimento Leonessa d'Italia through an immersive experience able to make the episodes and protagonists of the Italian Risorgimento more accessible, moving and understandable.
Quattro percorsi VR fruibili in museo, integrati nella proposta culturale ed educativa del Museo del Risorgimento.
The experiences allow visitors to explore the historical context of the Risorgimento and relive stories linked to figures and events that contributed to the birth of modern Italy.
Il progetto è guidato dalla Leonessa Lea, character realizzato ad hoc da Elisabetta Dami, ideatrice di Geronimo Stilton, come omaggio a Brescia, “Leonessa d’Italia”.
Valorizzazione del patrimonio: Le esperienze in VR arricchiscono la visita, svelando materiali d’archivio e reperti inediti all’interno di un racconto completo.
Coinvolgimento dei giovani: Il progetto rende la storia viva ed emozionale per le nuove generazioni, anche grazie alla guida narrativa della Leonessa Lea.
Accessibilità: Grazie a contenuti in LIS e a un software dedicato, l’esperienza è pienamente fruibile anche da utenti sordi.
Offerta educativa: Per le scuole (secondarie di I e II grado), la proposta unisce la VR experience alla visita guidata al Museo del Risorgimento Leonessa d’Italia.
